A BETTER SLURRY VALVE

LVC was established to fill a demand for better valves.

The Lined Valve Co, (LVC) manufactures a full range of valves for water and slurry service. In mining and tunnelling applications these valves have found favour with clients such as Asarco Mission, Candelaria, Magma Copper, Asarco Ray, Phelps-Dodge, Cyprus Bagdad, as well as being the valve of choice for OEM's such as Townley.

LVC's  innovative flush rubber seats address the problem of sediment accumulation within the valve body, and provide a superb long lasting, highly abrasion resistant, bubble-tight seat. And, since the slurry does not affect the seats, it makes them particularly suitable for power scrubber applications, such as lime slurries. Recent innovations in the designs now incorporate exotic alloys, such as Alloy 20 and Hastelloy to deal with very high, very severe, corrosive services.

LVC knife gate valves provide positive sealing for slurries, and are especially suitable for corrosive applications where safety and economy are equally valued. All applications can be accommodated using either stainless steels or ductile iron and by utilizing various combinations of seats and materials, including urethane linings for aggressive conditions. These designs produce high quality, bi-directional sealing valves, at an affordable price.

All the valves offered by LVC can be configured for hand wheels and chain wheels, and for pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuation.
