Ventiflex Ventilation Ducting

60 years ago, Protan's life jackets advanced the cause of safety and ever since Protan’s fabrics and products have been protecting property and personnel.

In northern Europe, year-on-year, Protan’s durable roofing membranes keep homes, business premises and public buildings safe from heat and hurricane. On-site, trucks deliver supplies protected by Protan curtain walls. Materials are stored in Protan’s temporary buildings and plant and equipment services in Protan’s field workshops. Portable offices and messing units are kept clean and hygienic with Protan’s wall and floor fabrics. Water and other liquids are retained in Protan lined lagoons and tanks. Granular and powdered materials are held in Protan protected bunkers and silos.

In underground construction, Ventiflex ducting has been supplying mines and tunnels, world-wide, with fresh air for well over 50 years and, during that time, has been selected for some of the world's most prestigious projects. In recent times, these include the Anglo-French Channel Tunnel, and, in Norway, at 35km, the world's longest road tunnel. In the new millennium, Protan has already supplied over 100km of Ventiflex, including 22km for Switzerland’s Ferden Tunnel.

As with all their products, rigorous quality control, expert installation and a life-of-project, no quibble guarantee has made Protan’s distinctive gold Ventiflex ducting widely respected in underground construction and made Protan the world's largest supplier of flexible ventilation ducting.

Today, with the development  of ITV and ETS, Protan continues it’s long tradition of safety by combining top quality ventilation ducting with state-of-the-art technology to provide a complete environmental management and access monitoring system that is proving to be an unique and valuable asset to underground construction.
